This is our waiting room and the first stop is going to be our Red Light Therapy area. This is our Red Light cabin. What I love about this is that you’re standing between these two areas you have as little clothes on as you want — none is great — and you get head-to-toe red light. Not just red light, but also near infrared. The red light is the more superficial benefits to skin, hair, and reducing wrinkles and age spots. Things like that. The near infrared (that you can’t even see) is what goes deep. That’s what decreases inflammation and increases healing, increases your metabolism. It has a lot of benefits that, for just 10 minutes in here, you’ll really start to feel. You’ll leave relaxed, which is wonderful.
Let me show you the PEMF room. It’s very Zen in here and that’s by intention: a lot of people fall asleep while they’re doing their therapy, which lasts about 20 minutes. Let me show you the mat itself you can see. There’s also red light as part of it: if you can see these crystals, there’s amethysts and there’s a variety of crystals… that’ what they’re doing. They’re balancing out the electrolytes of your cells, rebalancing them. It’s very sophisticated technology.
The mat decreases inflammation. It increases your ability to detoxify. It lowers blood pressure. It increases your immune system. It has a wide variety of effects that all happen at the same time, including a lot of relaxation. Most of our patients are just so relaxed after doing this, no matter how stressed they arrive.
Next, let me show you the sauna and the cold plunge. This is the infrared sauna. Sauna has a lot of benefits. Sauna has been around for hundreds of years and, from the science, we know that it increases what’s called “heat shock proteins”. It has been determined that if you do a sauna two to three times a week, you decrease your risk of all-cause mortality (meaning meaning anything that can kill you) by 24%. You do this four times a week and you decrease your risk of death by 40%.
So the longevity research behind infrared sauna is very very strong. It is very good for your heart; just being in the sauna is a form of exercise. You get into what’s called Zone 2 because your heart rate goes up. Over the long term, it’s very protective for the heart. Sauna decreases blood pressure, and decreases inflammation.
This is our cold plunge, and the benefits are many. Chief amongst them, you will increase your production of what’s called “brown fat”. “Brown fat” stabilizes your blood sugar, it really improves cardiovascular health and increases your metabolism so you’ll lose weight.
It’s very heart-protective: lower blood pressure and increase longevity. One of the favorite things we like to do is what’s called “contrast”. There’s cold therapy followed by sauna. The way those two work together synergistically is really beautiful. But there’s a right way and a wrong way to do it. What do you start with, what do you end with, this is something that we specialize in. We teach our patients so they really know how to get optimum results.
This is our beautiful IV room. Here, we do a wide variety of Therapeutic IVs. We have ozone IVs, NAD, something called PTC (short for Phosphatetidylcholine); these are very therapeutic IVs that handle toxicity from mold exposure, heavy metals, lime disease… things like that that overburdens the body.
We also offer the Myers cocktail, an IV that’s been around for hundred years. You’re getting nutrition intravenously and your gut doesn’t have to do anything to absorb the nutrition; that’s really the beautiful thing about it. We also do vitamin injections like high Vitamin C to boost your immune system; it just gets right into circulation, right into your cells so that you can utilize it.
It’s all part of the healing process.
