Power Oatmeal Bowl
Every morning Dr. Sterling eats this high protein, gluten-free, plant-based oatmeal bowl. You can change it up depending on the season, enjoying the fresh fruits or nuts in season. You can make it as unique as you want by adding different nuts, spices or sweeteners. Start your day off right with this protein packed oatmeal!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup of organic Gluten-Free Bob’s Red Mill Steel Cut Oats
  • 2 1/2 cups of water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 heaping tablespoon of peanut butter or almond butter measure according to your love for peanut butter or calorie count Optional: almond butter or cashew butter
  • 1 small handful organic walnuts cashews or almonds
  • 1 small handful organic raisins
  • Optional: 10 drops of Sweetleaf stevia or 1 teaspoon organic maple syrup – you don’t need to use any sweetener.
  • 1/4 cup organic unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon organic cinnamon
  • Toppings of your choice! bananas, blueberries, strawberries, ground flax, pumpkin or sunflower seeds

Instructions
 

  • Add water, oats and salt to an Instant Pot and set to 3 minutes to cook. (If you don’t have an Instant Pot, just follow directions on oats packaging and cook on a stove top.)
  • Place cooked oats in bowl.
  • Stir in peanut butter
  • Add walnuts, raisins, cinnamon, almond milk and sweetener.
