Herbed White Bean Dip
Gluten-free Herbed White Bean Dip Don’t let the name “dip” fool you. While this could certainly be used as a dip alongside carrot, celery sticks, or the raw vegetable of your choice, it’s also a great addition to a meal. The beans make it high in protein as well as fiber, and the garlic gives it a flavor and health boost. Garlic is anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer and should be in your daily diet somewhere. This dip is balanced with the right amount of protein, fiber and fat – you’ll find it to be extremely filling. It’s ridiculously easy to make and like hummus, something you can just have on hand for snacks as well as a bean side dish to any meal. Don’t be dismayed at the mild flavor when you first make it, the garlic takes about an hour or so to permeate fully. But then it’s very flavorful and delicious. Please let me know how you enjoy it.
