Wendy Gans, MS, RDN

Registered Dietitian, Masters in Nutrition Science

  • Credentials

Wendy is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Registered Yoga Teacher who specializes in Functional Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Nutrition from Montana State University and her Master of Science degree in Nutrition Science from the University of Florida.

She has additional functional medicine training through the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy along with completing clinical training at Dr. Mark Hyman’s UltraWellness Center in Lenox, MA. Wendy has helped treat patients with all types of disease processes, but has special interest in cardiometabolic issues, gut dysfunction, female hormone health and autoimmunity.

  • Philosophy

Wendy believes that health is multi-factorial and thus takes a comprehensive approach when working with patients. By looking at factors such as dietary intake, stress management skills, exercise and movement patterns, sleep quality, mental health, environmental toxin exposure and diagnostic testing results, she helps to identify the root cause of symptoms and develops a holistic plan to guide patients back towards optimal health and well-being.

Wendy believes that the body has an innate ability to heal if the right tools and environment are provided. Her goal is to teach patients sustainable actions to carry forward in their lives after their treatment programs have ended- helping them move from simply surviving to truly thriving.

  • Hobbies

In her free time Wendy loves to cook (and eat!), backpack in foreign countries, mountain bike, practice yoga and play outside as much as possible.
